Well, here we are again, it’s Friday. Which means it’s time for the OTTW. Unless you lived under a rock last weekend….Then you know the Super Bowl was last Sunday. Which typically means we don’t get football again until August. Lucky for us diehard football fans, that won’t be the case anymore!!!
The Alliance of American Football or AAF will be starting it’s inaugural season this Saturday and Sunday. They will have four games total, two on each day. Now, I know what you’re thinking…if it’s not the NFL, why should I be interested?
Well the answer is pretty simple…what else do you have that’s better to do? It’s undoubtedly freezing where ever you are reading this. So stay inside Saturday and Sunday night, and enjoy the beginning of what hopefully, will be a great new football league. The AAF has plenty of players who played in the NFL in some capacity over the last few years, so the talent won’t be terrible.
The opening games will both be played Saturday, February 9th at 7:00 pm central time on CBS. With the Sunday games being at 3:00 pm on CBS and 6:00 pm on the NFL network. Hopefully the play on the field will be good enough that we will want to keep coming back to watch. If not, it’s a long way away from August.
